Plant grows up to 15 feet in height (though it is often much smaller if grown in containers) and produces edible, red, egg-shaped fruits that have bright orange flesh and a sweet and tangy flavor. Fruits can be eaten fresh (minus the skin, which is quite bitter) or used to make juice, chutney, desert toppings, or sauces. Tamarillos will typically produce fruit within 18 to 20 months after planting and will continue to fruit up to 12 years. Start seeds indoors 12 to 24 weeks before the last frost. Sow seeds 1/4 inch deep in small, individual containers filled with one part potting soil and one part sand. Keep soil moist and at a temperature between 75 to 80 degrees F. Jewels of Opar – Talinum Paniculatum(200+ seeds) unique flower stems!

Jewels of Opar or Talinum Paniculatum is a versatile plant that can be used for flower arrangements, edible greens or herbal uses. It prefers growing in summer heat. This particular variety has light lime green succulent-like leaves, (as opposed to the darker green or variegated). Jewels of Opar is also known as Fameflower, Waterleaf and Surinam Spinach. Overall, this plant is easy to grow if you have a sunny location with well-draining soil. It can also be grown in containers – 3 gallons or larger. It is slow to grow below 80 degrees, but thrives in the summer heat and humidity. The seeds stems produce bright pink flowers that change into little balls/seeds pods of pink, red, and orange thus the name. Start 4-6 weeks before last frost, transplant outdoors once temperatures remain above 50 degrees. Sale is for 200 Jewels of Opar Seeds. calendula, EDIBLE FLOWER, reseeds, 105 seeds! GroCo# – BUY ANY 10 – SHIPS FREE

TO SEE ALL OUR ITEMS SEARCH “GROCO SEEDS” ON EBAY. CALENDULA – Pacific Beauty Mix Annual Yellow, Orange 2 feet tall Full Sun Seeds of the calendula are quite large and easy to germinate. After you plant them, they will always be there. They are not a perennial, but since they reseed so readily, they just keep coming back. Another nice feature of this flower is it’s capability to adapt to a pot. Often called a pot marigold, it can be started indoors in a pot, and even grown in a pot outdoors. Grow in full sun. Comes with planting instructions. The 2″ blooms are not only very colorful yellow or orange, but they are edible, so can be used in salads, on cakes, in drinks, or as a garnish for any dish. To me the plant has a faint rhubarb scent. This plant is one of the easiest to grow of all flowers and requires little maintenance. It can withstand some drought, and will still do well.

Seaside Pink Rose Fruiting Shrub {Rosa Rugosa}30+ seeds Free Shipping!

Seaside Pink Rose Fruiting Shrub {Rosa Rugosa} Large Hips | Edible | Heat Tolerant | Thornless variety 30+ seeds Free Shipping! Large shocking pink single rose flowers, with petals like tissue paper, stand out like beacons against the deeply-veined, large bright green leaves ultimately giving way to fat, glossy orange hips that are just as attractive as the flowers. This is a fast-growing rose with a dense and bushy habit that makes it a good choice for a summer-flowering hedge with autumn interest. The extremely thorny stems make it a good deterrent barrier too. These seeds have already been thoroughly cleaned and cold-stored for several months. They should be sown into well-drained, sandy compost at any time of the year, and covered to their own depth with sand or grit. No artificial heat is needed; the seed tray is best left in a cool spot outside and kept moist. Seeds usually germinate in the spring after a chilling in the cold compost, regardless of when they are sown.
