Lychnis Coronaria – Rose Campion seed

Lychnis Coronaria – Rose Campion is a very attractive plant with its erect, flowering stalks that are a white-gray color that is covered with a profusion of glowing, trumpet-shaped, 1-inch flowers that range in colors from magenta, pale pink, and white. These flowers rise atop a basal rosette of woolly, silver-gray leaves. It has a blooming season that lasts from late spring to late summer, will grow between 18 – 24 inches tall, and can be grown in either full sun or partial shade in well-drained soil. Moist soils are preferred however, this plant will tolerate poor, dry soils. These showy flowers will attract pollinators to your garden such as hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees while being resistant to deer and rabbits. They do well in containers, and in beds and borders in the garden. These plants are also easy to grow and low maintenance, which is always a good thing for the busy, beginning gardener!
