Hibiscus moscheutos Swamp Rose Mallow Also called Common Rose Mallow, Swamp Mallow and Crimson-eyed Rose-mallow. Perennial wildflower with impressive white or pink flowers, usually with red or red-purple center (7 – 8 in.). Plants like full-sun to half-shade exposure and acid moist soil. If planted in dry soil, water will need to be supplemented, especially during flowering period. Hummingbirds love this plant. Native to most of USA, except west coast (Zone 5 – 9). 25 fresh seeds grown organically in 2023.
