XL Mylar Packet – None So Pretty Catchfly SeedsGold Vault Mylar Zip Packet Though it soon escaped and began growing in the wild, this flower originally came to America in the early 19th century from the gardens of Europe. Because of its sticky stem that can entrap tiny insects, this family of plants earned the common name Catchfly. This particular species is sometimes called Lobel’s Catchfly after Matthias de Lobel, a well known 16th century botanist. Direct sow in late fall, pressing into the surface of the soil since this plant needs light to germinate. For spring planting, mix the seeds with moist sand and store in the refrigerator for 60-90 days before planting. Keep the soil lightly moist until germination, which usually occurs within 2-4 weeks. These seeds are non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms), and are also free from all Neonicotinoids. They are packaged in our superb Gold Mylar Mylar Zip Packaging, which gives the seeds the best storage possible, and allows you to reseal the bag for later use.
