Up for your sale are my RARE GIANT RED KING CANNA BULBS, this listing is for (3) Large Bulbs. These bulbs are very easy to grow and will turn any area or landscape into a tropical paradise. These Canna Plants will reach a height of between 8-12 feet tall when planted in the ground and between 3-6 feet when grown in pots on your patio. The leaves are maroon/green in color and are about 2 feet long. It is best to plant in full sun or partial shade. The more sun the plant receives, the more maroon the leaves will be. Gorgeous RED flowers are produced about 3-4 months after planting. The flowers do NOT attract bees, but butterflies and hummingbirds love them and the plants are Deer resistant. This will be one of the best purchases you ever make on eBay. Once you receive the bulbs you can plant now if you live in the south, but if you live in a cold area you will want to store the bulbs in a cool dark dry area such as your garage or basement. Plant the bulbs to a depth of 3 inches after any threat of frost. I put about 3 bulbs in each large pot on my patio or space them out about 1 foot apart when planting in the ground (look at my photos). The plants will begin to grow in about 1 week after planting and will continue to grow about 1 inch per day until the first frost in the Fall. If grown in the ground you never need to water, but if grown in a pot, they will grow better when watered. The bulbs will multiply about 1:10 by the end of the growing season. The 8th attached photo in this listing shows how big 1 bulb will become after 1 growing season. If you live in a cold area the bulbs should be dug out after the first frost and stored indoors until the next growing season. I cut the plants off at ground level, dig the bulbs up, wash all the dirt off, dry for several days, pack the bulbs in dry peat moss in an opaque tote, store in my garage and replant in the Spring.Thank you very much for looking!
