Giant Noble Spinach Seeds, NON-GMO, 100 seeds.. Spinach, a supercold-hardy leafy green, is a popular crop that can be planted in very early spring, as well as in fall. Spinach requires 6 weeks of cool weather from seeding to harvest, so sow seeds directly into the soil as soon as the ground warms to 40F. (Cover the soil with black plastic to speed itswarming.) Although seeds can be started indoors, it is not recommended, as seedlings are difficult totransplant. Sow seeds 1/2 of an inch deep every 2 inches and cover with 1/2 inch ofsoil. Plant in rows 12 to 18 inches apart or sprinkle over a wide row orbed. Sow every couple of weeks during early spring for a continuousharvest Water spinach to keep soil constantlymoist. Use row covers to maintain cool soil and deterpests. When seedlings sprout to about 2 inches, thin them to 3-4 inches apart. You can eat thet hinnings. Beyond thinning, no cultivation is necessary. Planting spinach is relatively easy and can be done using the following instructions: 1. Choosing the planting location - Spinach prefers a cooler climate and is best grown in soil that is well-drained and rich in organic matter. Choose a location that receives partial sunlight, especially during the summer months. 2. Preparing the soil - Spinach prefers fertile soil and grows best with a pH between 6.0 and 7.0. To improve the soil, add compost or well-rotted manure a few weeks before planting. 3. Sowing the seeds - Spinach seeds can be sown directly into the soil or started indoors. Plant seeds 1/2 inch deep, and space them 2-4 inches apart in rows that are spaced 12-18 inches apart. 4. Watering - Spinach requires consistent moisture to grow well. Water the plants regularly to keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Water in the early morning or late afternoon to avoid heat stress. 5. Thinning - Spinach plants grow best when spaced around 3-4 inches apart. Once the plants have grown at least two leaves, thin them out to achieve this spacing. For the best results, snip the smaller plants at the base, leaving the stronger ones to grow. 6. Harvesting - Spinach can be harvested once the leaves are large enough to use, usually around 40-50 days after planting. Harvest by cutting the outer leaves with scissors an inch or so above the soil surface. This encourages the central leaves to keep growing. Following these instructions, you can enjoy a plentiful supply of healthy and delicious spinach that you can use in salads, smoothies, and other dishes. *All small seeds count are approximate. if you think you didn't receive the right amount of seeds please return it for a refund. ** please don't leave a negative feedback or open a case, contact me to resolve any problem. *** I always work with my customers, so feel free to contact me with questions or concerns. *** Thank you*** I appreciate your business*** Track Page Views WithAuctiva's Counter
