These are seeds of the well-known Medjool date, widely considered the finest of dates. They are relatively easy to sprout and grow if given the right conditions, and will eventually grow to fruiting age if taken care of and cross-pollinated since they are dioecious. I would keep them as house plants in anything below zone 9, but warm and drier zone 8 places might be able to sneak by when fully grown. I’m always happy to answer any questions to may have.
