INDIAN BLANKET FLOWER. Native North American Heirloom Wildflower. A.K.A Fire wheel flower. The Indian Blanket Flower was the state flower of Oklahoma. Meriwether Lewis collected and described this plant in 1802. A flowering annual from the sunflower family that makes great cut flowers. Likes warm dry weather, and sandy soils, but will thrive just about anywhere with 6 hrs. of sun. Blooms all summer into fall. Pretty much carefree after established. Leave a few flowers to die naturally and they will reseed themselves and will sprout the following spring. 200+ Quality seeds per order.
