Campsis radicans Flamenco is a deciduous vine in the Bignoniaceae family. Common names include trumpet vine, trumpet creeper, cow itch vine, or Hummingbird vine. A native to the eastern United States, and naturalized elsewhere. It can grow to 35 feet and is vigorous. It grows in woodlands and on riverbanks but is also a popular garden subject. Used to cover pergolas or arbors because it can be trained to grow where you want it. It can grow in dry to moist soils with no problems. Zones 4-9 Germination Sow seeds 1/4" deep and lightly cover. Keep moist in a bright spot. Do not cover and keep temperatures around 65-70F. Germination is in 7-90 days.
