Seed. English lavender is a perennial to zone 5-10. It grows 18 inches tall and 24 inches wide. It develops purple flower stems in early summer. Likes full sun. Give plants plenty of room and airflow. Lavender needs two to three seasons to reach maturity so don't be alarmed if the first year or two you don't see flowers. Sprinkle the seed out in the fall or early spring, or, start seeds indoors 6 to 8 weeks before your last frost. Press seed onto moist soil and keep moist until germination which could be up to 3 weeks. Allow three to four seeds per plant wanted. 40 seeds per pkg.
