Hard Red Spring Wheat Heirloom Garden Starter Pack90 total growing DaysA very versatile, delicious and nutritious grain. Open pollinated heirloom. All Natural NON GMO. Traditionally cultivated in early Spring. Use as an all purpose flour wheat for reads, rolls and pizza crust. Our starter packs are intended for the home gardener that wants to try growing something different and give grain growing a try. Can be grown in any garden. Direct sow in early spring or as a container grown wheat. Red wheat produces a higher yield than most other wheat varieties. Many use stems for flower arrangements. Gives good yields in poor soils. Plant it about 1/4" deep, in well drained soil a few weeks before first frost. It will take 120 days to have nicely developed heads, harvest when seeds no longer have a milky appearance when cut open (when grain is good and dry) Seed can be stored for many years in a cool dry place. Makes excellent cover for quail and other wildlife. We thank you for your support of rare and naturally grown seeds! Because Seed is a perishable product all sales have to be final. No Returns or Refunds can be accepted- We appreciate your understanding Pictures / Video are representative only. All seeds are true to listing description and botanical name ===== Some seeds require some experience in growing. We provide germination guidance and recommend that you do some research before ordering if you feel unsure. Growing plants from seed is supposed to be fun. Sometimes it is successful and sometimes not- this is the way it is with gardening. Because we are not there to plant them, we cannot be responsible for germination failure due to improper planting or climate conditions or for any other reason. We will always send you viable seeds and are always here to help you along the way. Note: Seeds ship via first class or least expensive way-Thanks!
