Lilium davidii is a perennial in the Liliaceae family. A native to Asian from the mountains growing in elevations of 2500 to 10000 feet. Beautiful reddish-orange flowers that recurve to display the speckled middle. This one will need good drainage in moist soil. Light shade will be accepted but try some full sun for more blooms. Zones 3-10 Germination Keep lily seeds frozen in a tightly sealed plastic bag until you are ready to sow. Sow seeds 1/2' deep into the soil and keep moist in a sunny location. Germination occurs in 3-4 weeks. You will have strong plants with mature stems in 3 years.
