Specifications

This large evening blooming flower is the most romantic plant for your garden. It has a very light fragrance and attracts pollinators. It will vine and spread up to 20ft in the right conditions but in the northern US, 3-4 ft is more realistic. Flowers are 6-8 " when fully opened. Seed pods can be cultivated to grow back every year. They are very hardy and can grow in multiple climates, even dry packed earth in the shade but they do best in loose soil, in full sun and do not need fertilizer. I pull them up at the end of the year and plant in the spring after the danger of frost has passed. To prevent invasiveness, deadhead blooms, or pull seed pods before they break open.
