(50 Seeds) With Veronica seeds, you'll be able to grow these lovely blue blooms all summer long. Veronica Spicata, commonly referred to as Spike Speedwell, is well suited as a ground cover plant because of its compact, low, mat-forming habit. As the plant spikes, its violet-blue flowers are highly attractive to bees, butterflies and hummingbirds and the small size makes it a great container plant. We absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this perennial flower here at Southern Seeds. •Veronica spicata •American grown seeds •Height: 24" •USDA Zones: 3-9 •Perennial Growing Instructions: Start seeds indoors 4 - 6 weeks prior to last spring frost in small containers or starter trays using quality seed starting mix. Press the seeds into the mix but do not cover seeds -- light is helpful for germination. Moisten mix and keep moist until germination begins. Transplant outdoors after frost danger has passed spacing them 10 inches apart. Veronica ground cover seeds can be sown directly outdoors as well. Prepare a seedbed of loosened soil that is weed free. Once frost danger has passed, sow the Veronica seed into the seedbed, pressing the seeds in tightly. Keep moist until germination. •FREE SHIPPING on all orders of $35 or more. •Flat Rate shipping no matter how many seeds you order. •Growing instructions included on each seed packet. *All information is provided for educational purposes only.
