This package includes 6 slips with connected foliage ready for planting with healthy root system & connected OKN sweet potatoes so you are getting live plants with this order, perfect for starting your own garden for propagating MANY more which is why mine are a little pricer than those selling JUST vine slips & not multiple entire plants with the OKN Sweet potato’s themselves. But this will save you both time and the hassle of worrying about trying to root from the vines themselves so you just plant them all once received or take as many cuttings as you like from them. These rooted Hawaiian purple sweet potatoes with vines will produce even more beautiful, nutritious tubers that are perfect for cooking or baking as well as medicinal use. They have a creamier and have a more vibrant flavor than regular sweet potatoes and are INCREDIBLY high in antioxidants. These rooted vines + tubers are perfect for planting in your garden (avoid under decomposed mulch as too many wood chips can drain the roots of nitrogen) and will add a pop of color to your outdoor space once they spread out underground. They’re packaged in a way to ensure a safe transit so they remain healthy and are guaranteed to have no pests or parasites and everything grown in our nursery is organically grown without toxic pesticides of any kind. Those not grown in greenhouse are treated lightly with an organic, biodegradable neem oil compound so they’re safe for both humans and the plants and so no pesky moth larvae, caterpillars, beetles/grubs, or pests of any kind eat away at them so it’s advised you use a similar method but are washed before being sent regardless! Most shipped out come from greenhouses but I offer returns only to orders that arrive late due to slow postal transit times, so I do send replacements in the extremely RARE case that something should happen with just pictures of how it arrived.
